Living Healthy, Living in Harmony with Nature.

We all know in order to look your best, you need to feel your best. Starting the journey to live healthier and practice wellness not only benefits us internally, but will affect us externally as well. As you begin to make healthier choices you will not only notice your waist line slim down, but you will notice your skin looks more radiant, and your hair begins to look shinier and healthier. Yoga wellness expert, Michele Fife talks about what wellness means to her. If you are interested in learning more, please join us for our monthly wellness seminars at the office.

Living Healthy, Living in Harmony with Nature. Sounds simple right? We all want it, I believe that we all strive towards this and yet so often fall short or fail in our attempts. As the Wellness Expert for wotv, it is my job to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. I strive to live in harmony with nature and my goal is to help others find their way. The knowledge that it takes to lead a healthy life is really innate to us. We are by nature, nature itself. Organic living beings.

Every day we are bombarded with information about fad diets, processed foods, sugar replacements, health drinks, etc. It can be a lot and it can be confusing. Not just for our minds but confusing for our bodies.

So when I say living in harmony with nature I am not just speaking to the great outdoors but to your own true nature. Do your body so well with light foods? How about raw foods? What about dairy? When its cold do you eat warming foods and when its hot choose cooler foods? There is no one way to wellness that fits all with the exception of honoring what is innate to you.

Your food can be your medicine or the slowest form of poison.

To live in harmony is to find balance within ourselves. Balance in our nutrition, in our work, play and resting times. You already know, you know by listening to your body and all of the feedback it gives you. And what do you have to gain from this practice? Everything. Living well to me means waking up feeling refreshed. Enjoying equal energy through the entire day. Feeling nourished by the foods we eat. And above all feeling great in these wonderful bodies we inhabit.

If you are interested in listening to Michele speak, please register here to join us for our wellness seminars in the office. Seating is limited.
