This patient is a 57 year old woman (5'6", 156 lbs) who lost 75 lbs after undergoing a gastric bypass surgery. Since her weight loss, she has become very active and is often hindered by the excess skin on her upper arms. She elected to undergo a bilateral brachioplasty. She initially had residual fullness in her elbows that was revised under local anesthetic one year after her initial surgery and was very happy with her final results.

This patient is a 66 year old woman (5'10") who was unhappy with her upper arm skin laxity. She underwent a bilateral upper arm brachioplasty with armpit skin removal and liposuction in her elbow area as well. A total of 87 g (.2 pounds) of tissue from the right upper arm and 85 g ( .18 pounds) from the left upper arm.
